Since Apple released Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, in 2010, that only works with Intel 64-bit. However, Microsoft only disponibilizava Office for Mac in the 32-bit version. The company noted that, contrary to what happens on Windows, Mac OS X there will be no choice between a system to 32-bit or 64-bit.

In this sense, Microsoft will no longer offer the Office Mac 32 bits. Having made the transition to 64-bit version, this will always be the product that Microsoft will have available for the Apple segment.

Some customers may not be prepared for this change, for several reasons. However, Microsoft has not forgotten these customers and provide the 15:25 version is 32-bit. The process of obtaining this release is not simple, because it is not available by the direct route.

Microsoft provides the instructions to install the update whether you are already using the 64-bit version or not . However, if you are already using a version of Office for Mac 64-bit, you will receive a notification shortly to upgrade.
