July was the hottest month in modern history on Earth – Daily News – Lisbon

This was the 15th consecutive time a monthly record temperature was beaten, the longest series in 137 years

the month of July was the hottest in modern history on planet Earth, setting a record since the beginning of temperature records, there are 137 years, today announced US experts.

Another sign of global warming is that July was the 379th consecutive month with temperatures above the average of the twentieth century. We have to go back to December 1984 to find a slightly below average record.
