Niantic is banning players availing applications and third-party websites – IGN Portugal

When the Niantic revealed that cheaters in Pokémon Go suffer a penalty that prevented them from playing for just one hour, many found it too mild punishment .

well, it just changed. The company responsible for Pokémon Go is off, permanently, the accounts of users availing applications and third-party websites to assist in the hunt Pokémon, even as the game forum on Reddit. It notes that disabling arrives without warning, in the form of e-mail, so do not estranhes if you receive an electronic letter of Niantic.

Ben Burbank, Firewatch programmer, was one of the contemplated unhappy, seeing their account terminated, and resorted to Twitter to give account of what happened.

As we can see the notification received by Burbank, is given players the ability to appeal the judgment. However, if the Niantic court did not decide in your favor, your account will be permanently disabled, without ifs or buts.

The truth is that the use of these services violates claramento the application of the Terms of Service augmented reality, given that there are few who read these documents

But the Niantic can not wash away the hands -. many of these websites and applications only help players monitor some statistics of the game, with little or no practical effect on the game. Justice may be blind, but responsible for Pokémon Go also has a duty to give your players all the tools necessary to succeed in their demand for more Pokémon.

After all, consider yourselves warned. The Niantic is even closing in the cheaters, and this time with a heavy hand.
