Facebook and Unity will create “entirely new gaming platform” – VideoGamer Portugal

Last Thursday, a partnership between Facebook and Unity was announced for the development of a “whole new gaming platform.” However, unclear whether this collaboration is a direct competition with Steam, or to the GOG.com.

So the video game producer community, mostly independent, have the easier task post your creations on Facebook. Besides this advantage, they can still reach over and 650 million social network users, which include many traditional videogames players.

However, only the 5.4 version of Unity is that support this feature, already being available to a limited number of producers. The remaining they intend to use this novelty will have to sign up by the end of this month to have instant access to the service.
