The 11, 12 and May 13, you can go to the movies for just 2.5 euros (unless the sessions in 3D, IMAX or VIP seats).
The 1st Festival of Cinema, will be valid throughout the country, in 499 movie theaters that will provide up to 93,000 places.
The initiative comes through the Portuguese Companies Motion Picture Association (APEC) with the support of the ICA (Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual), the FEVIP ( Defense Association of Audiovisual Works) and GEDIPE (Association for Copyright Management, Producers and Editors).

The consumption of cinema room in the Portuguese market has steadily decreased since 2010, the year that have been sold 16.6 million tickets to just 12 million in 2014, a higher loss to four million viewers.
