Tekken X Street Fighter is ‘on hold’ – IGN Portugal

Rejoice fans, Tekken X Street Fighter is not dead, but its launch will not happen anytime soon. According to the producer Katsuhiro Harada speaking to GameSpot, the crossover is “standby time”

Although Harada has not explained how long it would take for the team to turn to Tekken X Street Fighter, or which progress achieved so far, explained that the recent release of Street Fighter V – see our analysis -. and the development of Tekken 7, were responsible for the break

“we do not want to divide these communities, so a good window to launch Tekken x Street Fighter has been particularly difficult to find recently.”

Tekken x Street Fighter was announced in July 2010, along with another project from Capcom, called Street Fighter X Tekken. The pair of crossovers presented with the plan to use the classic elements of their respective studios, but using characters from both series.

Street Fighter X Tekken hit the market in 2012, however, the project Bandai Namco, Tekken X Street Fighter, had disappeared from the map until now.
