Deco alert for purchases made on Facebook – iOnline

The Deco has received several complaints about the business made on Facebook. The shops on Facebook, recalls the Portuguese Association for Consumer Protection, most of them are not registered as companies in Portugal, do not have a contact physical address, and sometimes do not treat sales traders to consumers, but sales between individuals, making it difficult to mediation in case of conflict.

The association also advised consumers to stay with an order of proof with all the elements: product description, price, vendor address and delivery time. In the case of a purchase at a distance, always a period of 14 days to claim, however, that right applies only to transactions between traders and consumers, if you purchased the product from a particular, there is this possibility.

 
 

If the consumer has made a purchase in a Facebook store, and did not receive the product in time, should, according to Deco, choose to cancel the purchase and request a refund of the amount paid, or call upon the company to make the delivers a new term.
