Instagram add video channels in the “explore” – ólemë Journal

The Instagram is updating its section “explore” to add video channels to be displayed according to user preferences. After allowing videos of 60 seconds, the social network will display them in ways that draw attention. Each of these channels has a series of videos on specific topics, much like YouTube functionality.

There will also be a featured tab videos in some ‘channels’, in a similar way to what works on YouTube.

Through the video features, the algorithm begins to display more content that the user can see based on personal taste.

the Explore tab is for users of Instagram to discover new content on the app, and with this update (available for both iOS and Android), Facebook aims to highlight the video content that is shared daily on the platform.

Initially, update is available from today in the uS alone.
