Facebook also now has a VR camera – Pplware

The future of Facebook is known, through the video and the creation of virtual reality elements. With the Oculus Rift and all the platform ready social networking, it’s time to give everyone the ability to produce videos for VR.

The missing element was even available a VR chamber, something that It appeared today at F8 conference. The Facebook Surround 360 is the latest proposal from Facebook.

This new camera is prepared to produce content for new markets that come with the massive arrival of virtual reality solutions.

the software prepared to treat images to Facebook Surround 360 will create, put the video directly on the Internet, which will then be processed and presented.

Facebook Surround 360 has a special feature which it is common to some projects Facebook. It will not be sold and its construction plans will be open and available on GitHub so that everyone can set up their cameras.

In terms of hardware, the Facebook Surround 360 is composed of 14 chambers arranged in radially , complemented with 1 camera fisheye placed on top and two others placed cameras at the bottom.

The web-based software will paste all these images produced, which will have 4K, 6K or 8K, producing the final video of the users. There is no indication if this software will be exclusive to this camera or work with other hardware.
