Facebook , when a stranger tries to talk to you via Facebook Messenger , your messages go to a folder called “message requests”. The user is then notified that someone is trying to reach and it is up to you decide whether to allow such talk

However, the “Message Requests” folder has a filter. The social network justifies such a filter is to avoid SPAM. Thus, the Facebook algorithm decides what is legitimate message that is abusive advertising. Unfortunately, with a relatively high frequency, the algorithm sees legitimate messages as spam, throwing everything in a place where hardly the user will access.

Step 1. Access your Facebook profile and open your message area, either by clicking the link on the left or the button is on the top bar of the social network;

Step 2. in the left column, open the “More” menu and click “Filtered”;
