Dark Souls 3 sold over 500,000 units on Steam – Eurogamer.pt

Dark Souls 3 does not seem to scare anyone and everything indicates that it will be a great success for Namco Bandai and the studio From Software, has already sold over 500,000 units on Steam since the launch on 12 April.

Released on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 to 12 April in the West, Japan was the March 24, Dark Souls 3 is able to attract such players who in just three days managed to sell half million units. A sales pace that surpasses any other game in its series, which has more than 4 million units sold on Steam.

Another record that is being established by Dark Souls 3, is the largest number users at the same time for a game in the series, beating the record that belonged to Dark Souls 2.

According to Valve’s service statistics, Dark Souls 3 managed to register more than 115,000 players simultaneously on Steam, It is the third most requested game on the service. Only DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive managed to stay ahead
