Government appoints new leaders for INA’s governance structure – RTP

 Changing the INA’s governance structure follows the publication of an order in which the government explains the “need to print new approach to the management of services,” determining the cessation of Mafalda Lopes service commissions dos Santos and Sandra Ferreira Sant `Ana, effective April 14, 2016.
 

 In a statement, the Ministry of Finance states that the new appointments take effect from 15 April 2016.
 

 According to the information sent by the office of the Administration of the Secretariat of State and Public Employment, Elisabete Carvalho Reis has a PhD in Social Sciences, is Assistant Professor at the Institute of Social and Political Sciences (ISCSP) and coordinator Deputy Coordination Unit Public Administration since 2013.
 

 It is also a researcher at the Centre for Administration and Public Policies (CAPP), dedicated to the study of innovation and transformation processes in Administration and Public Policy.
 

 Júlia Araújo is a graduate degree in Legal and Administrative Sciences, Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon and served as the Training and Innovation Services Directorate services director at Learning, the General Directorate of Workers’ Qualification in Public Functions, from May 2012 to date.
 

 It was also Deputy Assistant Secretary of State’s Office and Educational Administration (2004-2005).
 

 In the document, the Ministry of Finance states that the Government’s program, under the plan of recovery of the exercise of public functions, enshrines “the adoption of a new training system that meets the profile of public workers and service needs, the pair the review of the redevelopment scheme for such workers. ”
 

 “It is therefore essential to draw a new strategy for the qualification and professional development of human resources of the Portuguese Public Administration, focusing on the definition and development of a new model of coherent, integrated and comprehensive training on the basis of different universes and careers professional and review the current workers requalification system in public service, “he adds.
 

 The management of the Secretary of State and Public Employment, Carolina Ferraz, also expressed in the note, his thanks to the outgoing general direction “for their cooperation and commitment in the years of service in the Public Administration”.
