Now, users can take a photo or choose a photo and get a quick translation of what is in the picture.
This feature was already available on iOS in February and want thus be more competitive with Google Translate.
Google created Google Translate for Android and iOS devices, and following the same line, Microsoft brought a new option for users of the system, called the Microsoft translator. Among them are image instant translation, inline and new language packs. The idea, as in other operating systems, you save space and allow the user has installed on their devices only those languages that will effectively use so that also can be accessed so offline.
