Microsoft has released a promotional campaign which offer extra storage 100GB OneDrive in the ‘some users’ through the Bing Rewards.

Users from several countries, among them Brazil (where this advertising was more reported) had access to these 100GB way ‘accidental’. According to Microsoft, this extra space in the cloud of the brand, it was only for US users and for users of competing platform, Dropbox.

Microsoft has acknowledged the error and removed the links of the respective campaigns. However, users who ‘accidentally’ had access to extra 100GB can rest easy because they will not be removed, says Microsoft.

The link of the Bing Rewards campaign has already been removed, as you can see in the image below. However, the link campaign for Dropbox users is still active.
