The Consumer Protection Association (DECO) stresses the difficulty of users to cancel contracts with operators associated with residence times.

The DECO has done follow this claim to the Ministry of Economy and the Anacom (National Communications Authority). The Association calls for greater equality between the contracting parties and requires greater flexibility in terms of loyalty.

Cancel a contract with a service provider before the term of stay, can, according to the DECO, reaching EUR 1500.

The DECO mentions also that the operators offer worlds and funds to build customer loyalty, but in time to leave, there are many barriers to consumer, forcing him to meet the deadline of stay, on average, is 24 months.
