Campaigns of 100GB of OneDrive were Microsoft error – Pplware

Campaigns were to be limited to US users

In the last week the Pplware reported the existence of two Microsoft campaigns that allowed users to earn free additional 100 GB in OneDrive. Many were readers who were able to raise 200 GB but in recent days, many users, worldwide, have been complaining that they can no longer participate in the “challenges”.

Microsoft has come to public explain and says to have treated an error.

There were two campaigns that Microsoft released with the aim of capturing users to OneDrive. Many were users who took such a “gift” but Microsoft has now explain that the campaigns were wrongly available for many countries. According to the Redmond giant, the campaigns were only for US users

But the company also said that whoever won additional GB can rest assured that these will not be removed.

The links of Bing Rewards campaign appear to have been removed but the Dropbox is still working and there are reports that still works.

It was one of the users who managed to raise 200GB? How many GB is currently in OneDrive
