For a long time has been said in the sale of Nokia’s location maps service, Here Maps. Most were some rumors, and some technology giants to the head.
According to Bloomberg reported, between the various stakeholders in Nokia maps service, comes to mind giant Apple and Google. Also Facebook, Amazon, Alibaba and even car brand like BMW, would be interested in this business.
In the case of Apple, this is a business that understands better. The brand does not have a service reliable and maps that can compete with rival services, including Google. On the other hand, a service of these also make much sense in the automotive industry, of course, and hence the interests of some brands in this service

After the purchase Alcatel-Lucent for about 15 billion euros, Nokia needs a large cash inflow, and this would be the right service to sell. After the sale of part of mobile devices to Microsoft, keeping one of these services, as we know, is aimed at mobile devices – of which the trademark is no longer part -. Starts not make much sense
Now comes a rumor that the great interested in Nokia’s map service is Google, and be prepared to pay around EUR 1.7 billion. Also Facebook is much interested. Incidentally, some of its location services are already based on Nokia maps.
Of course, every passing day the rumors are emerging and it is increasingly difficult to guess who will be the most interested. In the case of Google, the only interest would wipe out the competition, right? Once the brand already disposes of a good time sheets. In the case of Facebook it gains other outlines, and even this may be to absorb the Nokia location maps service. We’ll see.
