A man died on Saturday, falling to the river Agueda, in the city center, said source of the District Command of Aveiro Relief Operations.
The warning was given by 11 hours to rescue a man who was in bed the river. However, fire source said that when the victim was rescued, already “found in cardiac arrest and eventually die.”
On site were 16 firefighters of Agueda volunteers, supported by a boat and seven vehicles.
