McDreamy from Grey’s Anatomy on the podium of the 24 Hours of Le … – Express

A Sunday dream for Dr. McDreamy, or rather to Patrick Dempsey. The 49 year old actor won the silver medal in the amateur class of the 24 Hours Le Mans in France. Of Porshe and accompanied by Patrick Long and Marco Seefried, Dr. Derek Shepherd in Grey’s Anatomy series took the podium.

“I find it hard to explain in words how much it means to be on the podium of Le Mans. It is a wonderful achievement, always dreamed of a moment like this. I worked really the last three years for this to happen and now I’m here. Vive la France! “Said Dempsey, quoted by the Associated Press.

This is the fourth time the actor tries his luck in automobile competition, last year reached the fifth place.

On the podium, Dempsey overshadowed somewhat the winners of the competition, Victor Shaitar, Andrea Bertolini and Aleksey Basov, Team PCS Racing.

When he left the series Grey’s Anatomy, Patrick Dempsey left thousands of shattered hearts of fans. At the time, he explained that he wanted to dedicate more time to the motorsport and apparently compensated leave the halls of Seattle Grace.
