After analyzing thousands of images coming from 120 countries, the organization of Photography Award with iPhone (IPPAWARDS) announced on Monday (15) who are the winners of the eighth annual photo contest.

The first place was Michal Koralewwski, Poland, which raised a Polish man who performs traditional Polish songs accordion. “His face was the first thing I noticed,” said the photographer. “So expressive and beautiful in its own way. It was like an open book. You could almost read the life story in your wrinkles. “

He received a gold bar and an Apple Watch, smart watch also given to second and third place. The second best photo was taken by David Craik, the United Kingdom, which recorded two birds. “After the first bird to land and I see the shadow on the white wall behind it, I knew it would be a great image to be captured.”

The third best photo records the moment a couple hugged sleeps on a train in New York, in the United States. Yvonne Lu traveled next to the Hudson River Valley when he came across the scene. “It seems that the couple do not need anything else in the world,” he says. “It seems that the two could be coming from a movie set.”

In addition to electing the best photos, IPPAWARDS also grants awards in 19 categories such as animals, architecture, children, setting of the sun and people.
