Apple distinguishes the best photos taken with iPhone – Daily News – Lisbon

The image of an accordionist in a Warsaw court gave the first of iPhone Photography Awards this year the Polish Michal Koralewski. This is the eighth edition of Apple’s awards, which since 2007 reward photos taken with iPhone, iPod or iPad addition to the three winners for three photographs distinguished in 19 categories.

Among the 60 there is a distinguished Portuguese, César Bernardo, France Village de Xira, who managed a third place in the category “Lifestyle”. “I find the iPhone an extension of my eyes. It’s discreet, small and perfect for snapshots, street photography and catch a decisive moment,” said the Portuguese on the contest page. Bernardo work can be seen on Instagram and on your website.

Among the three winners, the podium is completed with a British photography David Craik and other Yvonne Lu. The three win an Apple Watch Sport.

The 60 winning images, Apple says, were chosen from thousands of photographs submitted, originating from 120 countries. The winners come from countries as diverse as Australia, China, Ecuador, Egypt, Kuwait, Malaysia or the United States.
