Temperatures scheduled for Tuesday – TVI24

For Tuesday, the IPMA provides little cloudy sky or cleaned, an increase of cloudiness to the end of the day on the coast of North and Center.

The Wood remains under yellow caution due to the persistence of relatively high values ​​of maximum temperature.

The wind will be weak to moderate (10 to 25 kilometers / hour) north quadrant blowing moderate to strong (25 to 40 kilometers / hour), with gusts of 50/60 km / hour order in the highlands and on the west coast, especially south of Cabo Mondego and in the afternoon.

Temperatures will range between 18 and 29 degrees Celsius in Lisbon between 15 and 24 in Porto, in Viana do Castelo between 15 and 25, Bragança between 14 and 32, in Braga between 13 and 29, Vila Real between 15 and 31, Viseu between 15 and 30, in Coimbra between 15 and 28 in the 16:29 Guarda, Castelo Branco between 19 and 36, Portalegre between 22 and 37, Évora between 16 and 36, between 16 Beja and 37 in Faro from 23 to 32, in Santarem between 18 and 31 in Leiria 16:26, Setúbal between 17:27 in Funchal between 23 and 28 in Ponta Delgada between 21:26 in Angra do Heroismo from 22 and 28 and in Santa Cruz das Flores between 23 and 27.

The regions of the Guard, Penhas Douradas and Viseu, as well as the cities of Angra do Heroismo (Terceira) and Ponta Delgada (São Miguel), in Azores, is therefore alert due to extreme risk of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation.

In the regions that are at extreme risk, people are advised to avoid as much as possible exposure to the sun.

Other places have a very high risk of UV exposure (level 10), as is the case of Aveiro, Beja, Bragança, Braga, Castelo Branco, Coimbra, Évora, Faro, Leiria, Lisbon, Porto, Portalegre, Sagres, Santarém, Setúbal, Sines, Viana do Castelo, Vila Real and Funchal (Madeira).

Therefore, 19 municipalities of six continental Portugal districts have a ‘maximum risk’ of fire, according to the Portuguese Institute of Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA).

According to the portal IPMA, they are on high alert for forest fires the municipalities of Trancoso, Fornos de Algodres, Celorico da Beira, Gouveia, Guarda and Sabugal in Guarda district; Arganil, Pampilhosa da Serra, Miranda do Corvo and Gois in the district of Coimbra; Castanheira de Pera, Figueiró Wine, Pedrogão Grande, in Leiria; Oleiros, Sertã and Vila de Rei, Castelo Branco; and Sardoal and Macau in Santarem, as quotes Lusa.

The south of the Tagus, only the municipality of Monchique, in Faro, poses the risk of maximum fire.

The risk of fire determined by IPMA includes five levels, which can vary between low and maximum.

The calculation is based on the values ​​observed at 13:00 each day regarding the air temperature, relative humidity, wind speed and amount of precipitation in the past 24 hours.
