A 63-year-old man, wearer of a home of Elvas in Portalegre district, which was missing for a week, was left on Sunday for a woman in the city hospital, he informed the PSP.
police source told the Lusa agency that the man, who apparently suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, was directed by a woman for the Hospital Santa Luzia in Elvas, to “health problems” on Sunday at around 20 : 00.
The police said he was unaware, even if the woman had a family relationship with the elderly, reported missing on the 20th of this month
According to the source of the PSP. the man, the day he disappeared from home, “received the reform, raised money, took a cab in Elvas and went to the nearby Spanish town Badajoz.”
The man has returned, however, to nursing home Júlio Botelho Alcantara in Elvas, according to police.
