The General Loureiro dos Santos is admitted to the Hospital of St. Francis Xavier in Lisbon after being hit by his house in Carnaxide, in terça- Wednesday, reports the Observer. According to the newspaper, the general state is not serious.
Loureiro dos Santos, 78, was admitted in the emergency room of the Hospital of St. Francis Xavier.
Born September 2, 1936 in Vilela do Douro, in county of Sabrosa, Loureiro dos Santos is a leading national expert on military issues.
Loureiro dos Santos was defense minister and chief of the General Staff of the Army, having also been professor at the Institute of Advanced Military Studies and the Institute of National Defense
