Cars with previous enrollment to 2000 and 1996 will be banned from, between 07:00 and 21:00 on weekdays, in central Lisbon.

The restrictions on movement cars prior to 2000 relate to zone 1, which runs from the axis of Liberty Avenue to Low (bounded on the north by Alexandre Herculano Street, to the south by Square Trade and covering the area between the Cais do Sodré and the Field of onions).

Cars with previous enrollment to 1996 will circulate prevented in zone 2 (defined by Avenida de Ceuta limits, north-south axis, Avenues Forces Armed, the United States Marshal Antonio Spinola, the Holy Constable and Prince Henry).

These driving restrictions fall within the third phase of the Low Emission Zone (ZER). The second phase was implemented in 2012 and the first created in 2011.

Emergency vehicles, center, residents, police, military, prisoners of transport, armored transport values, the cars natural gas, LPG and motorcycles are will continue to run.

Taxis will have a period of exception until June 30.
