Mobile applications Apple will get more expensive – News Minute to

The price of Apple’s mobile applications will become more expensive this year due to VAT changes applied by the European Commission (EC), advances the Guardian.

new VAT rules imposed by the European Commission (EC) will be reflected in the price of Apple’s mobile applications.

The information is advanced by The Guardian indicating that the apple brand has already informed the developers that the price paid by consumers will have to be higher.

The Exame Informática, in turn, did the math regarding the impact of this measure in Portuguese users and indicates that an app that costs currently 0, 99 cents behaves almost 13 cents of VAT, but with the new rate, the same mobile application passes costing 1.06 euros. However, says the publication, the price will be practiced only if Apple chooses to reflect all the VAT on the final price paid by consumers.
