Microsoft confirms Office 2016 in the 2nd half of 2015 – Journal of Brazil

A day after releasing Windows 10, Microsoft confirmed that Office 2016 will be released in 2015 in the second half. The confirmation was made by the company on the afternoon of Thursday (22).

The American company has not given many details about the new suite of programs that includes popular applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and One Note. In the post, they claim that they should share new information about Office 2016 in the coming months.

On Wednesday (21), Microsoft released an Office series designed for Vista, the “Office for Windows 10 “(initially called ‘Universal Office’) is free for mobile devices. – something that was done earlier in the release of Windows RT

However, unlike Office for Windows 10 that was released as a multiplatform tool (for use on personal computers, smartphones and tablets), Office 2016 should show improvement exclusively for PC users, using the usual tools, mouse and keyboard.

The Office for Windows 10 due out in the coming weeks, Microsoft said.
