Security Google Chrome more 'friend' from parental control - the Minute News

Google Chrome will introduce in a way to get parents to control what their children do on the Internet and seeking, writes the BBC, indicating that parents can block and approve access to some sites.

It seems that the Internet is trying to become a ‘site’ increasingly secure. The US-based Google is about to create a function to facilitate parental control, through the use of Chrome.

According to the BBC, the SafeSearch (in Portuguese, safe search) lets you control the profiles of people who use that browser, and parents can then approve or block access to several pages.

The feature is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, and also for Chromebook users (personal computer that uses only this browser).

This change comes in the wake of rising concerns regarding the viewing of inappropriate content, by children.

To enable SafeSearch just go to www.google.com / preferences, and in the ‘SafeSearch Filtering’, check the box labeled ‘Filter explicit results’, in order to avoid the appearance of videos with explicit sexual content, when search in Chrome. Then just save the changes.
