Athletes rendered the training device NASA - Daily News - Lisbon

This is an anti-gravity treadmill that speeds up the process of recovery from injury and that due to the conditions that the machine can recreate proved ideal for the practice of athletic training. Big clubs like Barcelona or Real Madrid already have in their sports centers.

The device was designed by NASA engineers to help in the training of astronauts and is considered the best physiotherapy equipment in the world, allowing a non-aggressive rehabilitation of muscle and joint function. The system of antigravity allows athletes to run on the treadmill with a reduction of body weight to 80%.

footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, basketball player Pau Gasol and tennis star Rafael Nadal are among the athletes who have surrendered to the potential of the “Alter G”. If Nadal does not refrained from antigravity treadmill to overcome a torn knee, Cristiano Ronaldo, besides having the device available in the training center of Real Madrid, could not resist buying one like to have at home. Himself King Juan Carlos of Spain appealed to NASA machine to recover from a hip operation.

Alter G anti-gravity treadmill costs about $ 24,500 (18,000 euros).
