Asteroid could collide with Earth in 2032 - The Ball

An asteroid more than 400 meters in diameter is a route that could collide with Earth in August 2032. However, NASA removes almost completely this scenario, saying that the possibility of collision is 0.002 percent.

According to CNN , the astronomers of the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory in Ukraine, discovered an asteroid (the 2013 TV135) that can go just 1.7 million kilometers from Earth, there is even the possibility of a collision with our Blue Planet in August 2032.

The 2013 TV135 is over 400 meters in diameter and has classified as potentially dangerous, as in the case of colliding with the Earth, the explosion would be equivalent to the detonation of 50 atomic bombs, leading to the extinction of the civilization.

However, according to CNN , NASA has stated that the probability of the asteroid 2013 TV135 collide with Earth is highly reduced, only 0.002 percent, so there is no cause for concern .

The risk of collision awarded by NASA impact is 1 on a scale of 0 to 10, with almost all current asteroides discovered to lie at level 0.
