Google Chrome will gain advanced parental control options - TeK.sapo

The new beta versions of Chrome OS and Google Chrome have a new feature: users supervised, a free translation of Supervised Users. This tool allows you to create multiple user profiles within the same computer and browser, but with control levels and different restrictions.

The functionality is seen as a strong bet for the platforms at the level of parental controls. Thus both Google Chrome and Chrome OS computers may become more appealing to parents and teachers.

The user account that has more privileges have access to data from other created as browsing history, possibility of creating lists of sites that can be visited and other pages that are blocked. The user “supervised” may also require access to a particular site, this notification will appear that “supervisor”.
