Washington – A team of U.S. scientists have identified a mechanism that allows us to understand the process of aging through DNA.

The discovery of

group of scientists at the University of California has been disclosed in the journal “Genome Biology”, and is a kind of clock in DNA, which allows to understand the aging of tissues and organs.

Genetic research helped identify the mechanism of tissue aging, and some are performed to the rhythm of the body and others at their own speed.

According to lead researcher, Steve Horvath, in the future it should be possible to develop ways to control ‘readjust the clock’, bypassing the body’s aging process.
