With a top speed of 420km / h, the Chiron wants to be the car faster production in the world

The Bugatti presented this week, Chiron in 2016 edition of the Salon International Geneva Motor Show, which is taking place in Switzerland, until next March 13. The French brand featuring its new model, which is assumed as the Veyron successor, as the most powerful, fastest, most luxurious and most exclusive super sports production in the world.

Chiron is equipped with the same engine W16 Veyron, a block of 8 liters aided by four turbochargers, improved for debiting 1500 horsepower at 6700rpm and torque of 1600Nm between 2000 and 6000rpm.
The new machine Gallic builder is able to accelerate from zero to 100km / h in less than 2.5 seconds and from zero to 300km / h in 13.6 seconds and can reach a top speed of 420km / h, the which is limited electronically.
The Veyron successor debut an adaptive chassis with five separate programs: “Lift”, “EB Auto”, “Autobahn”, “Handling” and “Top Speed”. The first aims at overcoming bumps and driveways and off to 50km / h, then passing to the mode “EB Auto”, which runs up to 180km / h. From this speed comes into play “Autobahn” program, which aims to ensure maximum stability. Meanwhile, the mode “Handling” is indicated for use of the full dynamic of Chiron potential, while the mode “Top Speed” is activated by the use of an additional key, the “Speed Key”, which releases the Chiron so as to overcome the 400km / h.
The production of the Bugatti Chiron, which will only begin in the autumn, is limited to 500 units, each of which is sold at a price of roughly EUR 2.4 million (before tax). Despite the high value is about one third of production is already sold.
