There are 26 higher education courses without students – Porto Canal

There were 26 courses that were no students in public universities and polytechnic institutes in Portugal. Engineering occupy the greatest number of degrees with no place in two phases of access to higher education.

Of the 26 courses with no placement, are 20 degrees in engineering. Of these 20, nine are of Civil Engineering, which, according to the Directorate General of Higher Education (Higher Education Department), is the course with the worst reputation among students.

The results of the second phase of access to education higher were known on Thursday at dawn. Competed for 18,250 students, but only 51% of candidates managed to join the approximately 42,000 students who entered the first phase.

However, after the two phases of access were yet to fill 5836 vacancies in education higher.
