Sperm banks use iPhone 6S to attract donors – TVI24

Sperm Center and Ov & # XF3; citos opens in September Fever iPhone 6S is so great in China that sperm banks are using it as a strategy to attract donors. Two donation centers will pay the equivalent of the price of the new model of Apple, whose pre-orders sold out in the country in 12 hours.

The shortage of sperm donations in some provinces of China is so great that some sperm banks have thought of a marketing strategy that is attracting the attention of the Chinese. Two centers used the WeChat and Facebook to inform potential volunteers who donate sperm would be offered the required amount to buy an iPhone 6S.

On Facebook one of the clinics could read in the announcement: “The bank is looking for donors between 22 and 45, which can receive 700 euros, while the iPhone 6S has a cost 730 euros “.

“An iPhone 6S costs at least 5,288 yuan (about 730 euros) in mainland China, you can now get it without having to give a kidney in return,” he wrote the laboratory in popular WeChat application of another center, according to the China Daily.

The Chinese obsession with Apple products has meant that, in 2012, a Chinese 17 year old sold a kidney to an organ trafficking network, to buy an iPad and an iPhone.

Mobile phone usage for marketing purposes is not a surprise, since Apple’s revenue in China grew 110% last year. 20% of iPhone 6S pre-orders belong to the country.

According to the newspaper China Daily , the hype is to be a success and, since it was published on social networks, it has been viewed over 400,000 times.
