Apple wants to launch an electric vehicle by 2019. After evaluating the feasibility of the project, the technology giant is gathering efforts and accelerate design that promises to revolutionize the American brand.

The technology giant Apple is accelerating efforts to launch the electric car market. According to anonymous sources close to Apple and quoted on Monday, September 21, the Wall Street Journal, the US company wants to launch an electric car by 2019.

This project Apple is provisionally dubbed “Titan” and was approved after the company had spent over a year investigating the feasibility of a car of the Apple brand.

According to sources cited by the Wall Street Journal, the leaders of the project are allowed to triple team of 600 people who counted so far.

Apple has hired driverless car experts, but the WSJ says the company does not want to for now, make your first fully autonomous vehicle, but this is a long-term goal.

WSJ writes that the aim of launching an electric car by 2019 is very ambitious and that, even at the end, the car would have to pass a series of tests before going to market.
