In the world of mobile technology there is a hidden desire that Nokia launch an Android smartphone before allowing its mobile division to be completely taken by Microsoft, which is expected to occur later this year. Although this same desire is pretty old already, information about a potential Android device from Nokia has never been so outstanding as at present.
Nokia Normandy is no longer necessarily a new name, and in 2013 had heard of this mysterious device. However never came to obtain clarifying information about this phone, all appearances have been falling by the wayside, to the more recent leaks of information disclosed online, courtesy of user @ EVleaks.
The images in question show a unit of apparent low end dual SIM (indicated by the status bar) and very similar to the current Asha range aspect of the company (which in turn will fetch part look at the Lumia) series. The Android we see the device running the images, according to GSMArena indicates, is KitKat.
The specifications referred to this device, which appeared in AnTuTu benchmarks under the code name Nokia RM-980 A110 indicate a screen size of 4 inches (480 x 854), 5 MP camera and Android KitKat . It is thought that operates with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200.
Odds device from getting to see the light of day are minimal, but current rumors indicate that the company plans to continue with the same production this smartphone and launch it on the market during 2014.
