NASA launched the night this Thursday from Cape Canaveral in Florida, a new communications satellite, used to support the International Space Station (ISS, its acronym in English) and the Hubble Telescope , among others, according to information from the agency AP .
The TDRS system stands at a height of almost 36 thousand kilometers in height, at various locations along the equator, and enables communication between the ISS and its six inhabitants. The system is so important that it is considered a national asset.
