That’s what the study shows an international group of biologists coordinated by William Ripple, University of the State of Oregon in the United States. The researchers analyzed 31 populations of large carnivores throughout the world, including the Americas wolves and cougars, lions and hyenas in Africa, in Europe lynx and bears, leopards and wolves or dingos in Asia (a subspecies of wolf) in Australia. The results were published yesterday in Science.
