Officially. Users of Apple iPad, however, will still have to wait. Microsoft Office for iPhone allows you to edit documents on the go.
The Office for iPhone no longer a rumor, and became an official application for the Apple platform, available from Microsoft. Called Office Mobile for iOS and, at least for now, the iPhone is exclusive – which means that iPad users will have to wait a bit.
The application is only available through a subscription of Office 365 and should allow access to the basic functionality of the popular enterprise software for Windows, which means edit documents on the iPhone. There are free versions available.
Judging by the pictures, courtesy of The Verge, the look of this iPhone version of Office closely resembles the look of Windows Phone and supports Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
