The end of Google Readers disappoint users longtime RSS service, but it was great for a rival in particular: Feedly, which in just four months increased by 8 million its user base.
In mid-March, when Google announced the end of the Reader, Feedly had about 4 million users. Now, nearly four months later, the service already has over 12 million users.
Thinking this substantial increase, and how to keep it, Feedly announced the news this week, as the Feedly Cloud. According to the service, the new tool “forencerá a migration of a simple click from Google Reader.”
Moreover, Feedly is launching a web version of your reader that works with major browsers. The intention is to give more options to the users.
Remember that Google Reader works only until the end of June. Alternatively, the service is also investing behind these “orphaned users” Digg is with launch of new app scheduled for the next 26 days.
