Today, April 30, the deadline for delivery via the Internet tax returns of the first phase, one that integrates salaried workers and pensioners.
Figures released however by the Tax and Customs Authority reveal that refunds are being paid since last April 22, with taxpayers to wait, on average, 22 days to receive a refund. Last year the average period for payment of reimbursements was 25 days.
The 171 000 families already settled accounts with the state guaranteed a total reimbursement of 90 million euros. On the same note on which publishes figures for the first repayment process the Tax Authority also ensures that repayments are proceeding with “all normal”. The deadline for online statements of the 2nd phase – where fit workers with independent income – starts tomorrow and ends in late May.
