Samsung may be planning to launch the first digital camera that doubles as a smartphone – or vice versa: the Galaxy S4 Zoom. The hybrid device, which must rely on a touchscreen, Android OS and 16 megapixel sensor, can be released by June or July this year.

Samsung launched earlier this year the Galaxy Camera, a digital notebook with touch screen and Android System. It is not known if the S4 Zoom would be a successor to this device or the first of a new series of powerful cameras built into a smartphone – more or less like the cell Pureview 808, Nokia’s camera with 41 megapixels.
Still no official confirmation from the manufacturer about the matter, but the site SamMobile , first to disclose information of the device, it highlights the likely specifications for the model: Super AMOLED qHD 4 , 3 inch, 8 GB of internal memory (with microSD slot for cards up to 64GB), GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and Android Jelly Bean with TouchWiz interface.

Galaxy S4 Zoom still being treated as a rumor, but if the prediction that gadget be released in June or July is correct, Samsung should rule soon on the subject. Meanwhile, consumers passionate about photography and is looking for a smartphone will surely be hoping to find out if there is even such S4 Zoom.
