It is a homage to the style of the American giant, which uses its endless potential for remembering anniversaries, or people, as is the case, games that marked a generation and remains immortal.
This is not the first time that Google uses this tool to remember hidden facts ‘of the barrel roll’, or ‘Zerg Rush’ are other cases. “Atari Breakout” is a new example of originality in the tribute.
The game consisted in destroying small blocks that disappear at the touch of a ball, controlled by the player from a base. The goal is to destroy the blocks without the ball drop. Remember?
