Samsung unveiled a new screen that will set the standard for the next brand notebooks. The company is preparing smaller versions of their TVs S-Series Ultra HD display and said the 13.3-inch ultrabook to have more resolution than the Pixel Chromebook, Google and Retina MacBook Pro, Apple.

of qHD screen is a 3200 x 1800 resolution with 276 ppi pixel density greater compared to its competitors as already mentioned MacBook Pro 13 (2560 x 1600) and Chromebook Pixel (2560 x 1700). Besides the high quality resolution, the screen also promised to provide 30% reduction in power consumption compared to LCDs “normal” ones. This decrease occurs for consumption by reducing the number of driver circuits, and the presence of backlight units more efficient.
No information on amounts and dates of availability. Samsung also has not confirmed if the screens actually come to ultrabooks. However, it is expected that the company disclose the news at IFA 2013 to be held in Berlin in September.
