Washington – The U.S. company Google is developing a service that allows you to visualize the evolution of the planet Earth in the last 28 years, in partnership with publisher Time Inc.
Google will launch the “timelapse”, a platform that shows the changes done on the planet between 1984 and 2012, in partnership with the U.S. publisher Time Inc. and in collaboration with NASA and the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
The ‘Timelapse’ offers, actualemente, about 2 million images captured by Lansat program, dedicated to the observation of land resources, whose first satellite was launched in 1972.
The platform refers to the technology used in the service ‘Google Earth’, through the Graphics Interchange Format (GIF’s) excited, an image format into bitmap, often used for animations.
