Figures released this week by Nielsen show that users of the social network Google+ are spending more time connected to your pages. A year ago, the average time spent on the network was 3 minutes and 20 seconds. Twelve months later, the number has almost doubled and now reaches the average of 6 minutes 47 seconds per month.
Despite the growth, Google+ is still far from the industry leader, Facebook. To get an idea, the average use of social network Mark Zuckerberg is 6 hours and 44 minutes per month.
Having grown 33% since last June, Google+ now has 360 million active users. According to Google, the numbers indicated by Nielsen does not reflect reality, since the record only direct accesses to the site, not including references to YouTube and Gmail.
