Private Hospital offers advanced preventive technology, diagnosis and treatment and part of the national network of hospitals and clinics CUF
The CUF Viseu Hospital opened its doors this Monday, June 27, presenting to its users a wide offer in 35 medical and surgical specialties.
About 172 jobs (100 doctors and 72 employees – technical, administrative, auxiliary, nursing) been made available. It is expected the creation of 40 indirect jobs through the different local companies with which the CUF Viseu will establish contracts for the provision of services.
The new private hospital provides complementary diagnostic tests and exams specialty in Cardiology, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pathology, Gastroenterology, Clinical Pathology and Pulmonology.
the hospital, which consolidates the national dimension of CUF network ( already included seven hospitals, institutes and various clinics around the country) also makes available to its technologically advanced equipment users for answering all needs, from prevention to treatment to diagnosis.
The CUF Hospital Viseu currently has 31 inpatient beds with the possibility of expansion, three rooms of surgical block, two small operating rooms and six beds in Intensive Care. The outpatient care is done in 40 offices specialty consultations.
The building also includes spaces for Dental Medicine, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Long Term Care.
Located in the Ice Palace Shopping in the center of Viseu, the new hospital covers an area of 20,600 m2, where are installed the various hospital valences, as well as areas dedicated to clinical trials and epidemiological studies.
from October, Permanent Customer service, with the valence of Pediatrics from 8h to 22h will be available. In the last quarter of the year, the hospital that belongs to the José de Mello group Health hopes to count on a day drive Oncology.
