NASA discovers most luminous galaxy in the universe
Wise Light took approximately 2.5 billion years to reach Earth <. /> p>

The American Space Agency (NASA) has published the discovery of the brightest galaxy in the universe journal Astrophysical Journal .
The search, led by astronomer Chao-Wei Tsai, came to the galaxy through space telescope Wise, so it was named Wise 224607.57-052635.0.
According to the portal Terra, it is part of Luminous Infrared Galaxies Extremely group (Elirg), consisting of 209 very bright galaxies and has light equivalent to 300 trillion suns.
The indications are that the galaxy was formed about 13.8 billion years ago, when the universe was just created. The proof is that the light of Wise 224607.57-052635.0 took about 12.5 billion years to reach Earth.
