This is how the Minister of Internal Affairs yesterday received the largest union of PSP for the second round of negotiations on the controversial status. “I mean that my intention is to meet your expectations of” have declared Anabela Rodrigues just the beginning of the meeting, according to a source who accompanied the work.
Results? The promise of admission of 500 new police officers a year from 2016 since, until 2019, to compensate and outputs, working hours remain on 36 hours per week and the transfer to one of the most important and difficult union demands: pre-retirement at 55, uncut and without, as now, higher authorization of the National Director of PSP, always time consuming.
“Something unthinkable a few months ago and that goes against everything that has been the political line of the Governments in recent years “, recognizes the president of the Trade Union Association of Police Professionals (ASPP), the first union to meet with the minister and the most representative of this security force.
